2023 brought our organization exciting growth, as well as the addition of our new executive director, Val Droege. After a thoughtful search process, we welcomed Val in the summer as she stepped into the role previously held by Sam Dean, as he now runs his own business, Dean Auto Cleaning LLC, in Pacific. We thank Sam for his time with us and wish him success with his business. Val's leadership and vision has already made a positive impact on the goals we have set for 2024. We can't wait to see what exciting things are in store as we build upon the foundation laid in 2023!
As we ring in new year, it's time to look back at our organization's accomplishments and highlights from 2023. Our volunteers dedicated over 1,500 hours last year serving on boards, committees, and at events. Here are some of the ways we made an impact in 2023:

Some Key Achievements in 2023:
- Provided maintenance, security, and new signage for Pacific Station Plaza - keeping the area safe and attractive for train enthusiasts
- Awarded two $1,000 scholarships for local high school seniors
- Showcased over 40 vendors at multiple events throughout the year
- Pacific High School Football, AMVETS, St. Bridgets, and The Jeff White Memorial Skatepark for their help at events
As we look ahead to 2024, we have some exciting goals:
- Continue Downtown Beautification
- Continue Facade Grant Program
- Develop Pacific Station Plaza
- Expand Downtown Christmas Lights
The new year promises to be an exciting one for our Pacific Partnership, with several can't-miss events on the calendar. We are back with St. Patrick's Day Parade, our annual Car Show, Sunset on the Rails, Iron Horse Rodeo, Monsterfest, & of course, our Hometown Christmas. Volunteers and sponsors are still needed, so contact us if you'd like to get involved. We're thrilled about all the exciting events in store and hope you'll be a part of our 2024 season!
